Speaking boldly

Changing the World for Christ

“always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you”

– 1 Peter 3:15

what we teach

This class trains students in various speech categories each with their own particular events and style. Students are encouraged to compete in different categories to broaden their overall abilities.

There are three styles of debate that we train, Policy, Lincoln Douglas, and Parliamentary. All of them teach critical thinking, organization, argumentation, research skills and logical reasoning.

The final tournament of the season is the National Invitational Tournament of Champions (NITOC) which brings students together from all parts of the United States for competition, fellowship with old friends, and making new friends.
